Rhythman: Family-Friendly Musical Experience 6/18

The Village of Williamsville Arts, Culture & Diversity Committee invites the community to enjoy a special Music on Main performance of Rhythman on Thursday, June 18, in the Mural Garden next to Village Hall.

Rhythman is the musical project of “The Waz” David Wasik, an early childhood educator, literacy advocate, and founder of the nonprofit Create A Minibook. For the past decade, Wasik has worked throughout WNY promoting literacy and creativity, and now brings his passion for community engagement to the stage through an interactive, family-friendly musical experience.

Audiences of all ages will enjoy a lively performance featuring rhythms and percussion traditions from cultures around the world. In addition to showcasing a variety of percussion instruments, Rhythman encourages audience participation with shakers and other hands-on instruments, creating an energetic atmosphere filled with music, movement and smiles.
