The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) reviews requests for relief from the Village’s zoning regulations, including Area Variances, Use Variances, and Special Use Permits. The Board conducts public hearings, considers the unique circumstances of each application, and renders decisions in accordance with the Village Code and applicable New York State law.
Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at Village Hall.

The Village of Williamsville will never request payments via email links or wire transfer. All fees for planning and zoning board applications and building permit applications must be paid by personal check or money order made out to the Village of Williamsville and paid at the Village of Williamsville Building and Zoning Clerk’s Office at the time of application submittal. Receipts for payment are then delivered to the Planning Department and Building Department for each respective application. Official Village emails will only come from @village.williamsville.ny.us addresses. If you receive an email requesting online payment for a building permit, planning or zoning board of appeals application, contact the Village Building Department at 716-632-7747, before responding.
