Parks Committee
The Parks Committee advises the Village Board on the planning, preservation, and enhancement of the Village’s parks and recreational spaces. The committee oversees Garrison Park, Island Park, South Long Park, and the Lehigh Memory Trail, and provides recommendations on park improvements, maintenance, accessibility, recreational amenities, and long-term planning to ensure these public spaces continue to serve residents and visitors for years to come.
Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at Village Hall.
In 2019, the committee completed the Village’s Picture Our Parks 2025 Master Plan, which continues to guide park improvements and future planning efforts.
