Environmental Advisory Council
The Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) advises the Village Board on environmental issues and works to promote the conservation, protection, and enhancement of the Village’s natural resources and green spaces. The committee provides recommendations on sustainability initiatives, environmental stewardship, tree planting, park and open space improvements, invasive species management, and other projects that help preserve and improve the Village’s natural environment.
The committee meets at Village Hall on the third Monday of each month.
Current Members: Carol Descutner, William Flannery, Frank Mischler, Jon Nickerson, Marisa Riggi, Steven Schulz, Eileen Torre, Jane Vohwinkel (Chairperson), and Luke Wolfe.
