It’s time! All those half-filled cans of paint and old rechargeable and regular batteries (no motor vehicle batteries, please) can be brought to this event where they will be collected for recycling.
The following Paint will be accepted at the collection: latex, oil-based and acrylic house paint, stains, varnishes and primers. Accepted batteries include loose alkaline and rechargeable batteries, laptop batteries, and battery packs such as tool batteries. There is no limit to the number of materials you can bring to the paint and battery collections. Businesses are welcome to bring paint.
Erie County and GreenSheen Paint have partnered together to offer this service to Erie County residents. This event is sponsored by the City of Buffalo, Assembly Majority Leader Chrystal D. Peoples-Stokes, Assemblymember William Conrad and Assemblymember Karen McMahon.
