The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s 2027 Arbor Day Poster Contest is now open!
This year’s theme, “Trees for Vibrant Communities,” celebrates the important role trees play in creating healthy, resilient and livable communities-something we certainly appreciate here in the Village of Williamsville!
New Yorkers of all ages are invited to submit an original photograph, painting, drawing or other artwork for the chance to be featured on New York State’s official 2027 Arbor Day Poster.
Deadline: November 10, 2026

*DEC requires photographs to be taken in New York State, while artwork must depict a New York location, tree species, or otherwise have a clear New York connection. Entries must be original, and AI-generated artwork is not eligible.
